Members of the Elgin Fox Valley Men of Harmony chapter sponsored and helped organize their annual Youth in Harmony Contest on Sunday, February 8 at Huntley High School.
Students from Barrington, Huntley and Grant High Schools formed four girls quartets and five boys quartets, along with three ensembles from Huntley High School.
The quartets and ensembles were judged using BHS rules by two judges, Jeanne O’Connor and Lynn Randall from the Harmony Incorporated organization, and two judges, Dave Cowin and Bob Squires, from the Barbershop Harmony Society.
The result from the boys contest were:
3rd Place- The Barbersquad, from Barrington H.S.
2nd Place- The Rolling Tones from Grant H.S.
1st Place- Four Men, One Voice from Barrington H.S.
