Fall 2024 Illinois District Convention

Registration is open for the Illinois District Fall Convention, which is in Bloomington September 27-29!

Register for the convention via Eventbrite.

Right now, all-event passes are available via Eventbrite. They’re $50 (free for first-time attendees). Individual tickets to the Friday quartet contest will be sold at the door. Individual tickets to Saturday’s chorus and quartet contests will be available via Evenbrite at a later date.

Book your hotel room at the DoubleTree, 10 Brickyard Dr., Bloomington.

Overflow rooms are available at the Holiday Inn, 8 Traders Cir., Normal IL 61761. However at this time, the special rate at the Holiday Inn requires a two-night stay. The link to book at the group rate is also in the Eventbrite event.

FRIDAY- Sept. 27th
1:00pm House of Delegates Meeting – DoubleTree Hotel – Brookridge room

2:30pm-6:00pm Convention Registration – DoubleTree Hotel – Pre-Function Area. *All competitors must present an all-events registration to enter the contest stage

District Historical Display – DoubleTree Hotel – Ironwood Room

6:30pm District Quartet and International Quartet Prelim Semi-Finals – SecondPresbyterian Church 404 N Prairie St, Bloomington, IL
*Single event tickets sold at the Second Presbyterian Church
Evaluations for all quartets not competing in the Saturday Night Finals: Report to judges’ hotel rooms at the DoubleTree Hotel approximately 30 minutes following the end of the Quartet Semi-Finals (see quartet “Scoring Analysis” for schedule)

SATURDAY- Sept. 28th
8:00am-9:00am QCA Meeting – DoubleTree Hotel – Brookridge Room

9:00am-11:30am Convention registration – DoubleTree Hotel – Pre-Function Area. *All competitors must present an all events registration to enter contest stage. *Single event tickets sold at the BCPA ticket office.

District Historical Display – DoubleTree Hotel – Ironwood Room

9:00am-9:50am District Barbershop Polecat Program – Double Tree Hotel –Brickyard 1&2

10:00am-11:00am SMAG Contest (Saturday Morning Anything Goes)- DoubleTree Hotel – Brickyard 1&2

12:00pm District Chorus Championship & International Chorus Prelim Finals – BCPA. *All competitors must present an all events registration to enter the contest stage.

Evaluation for Chorus Music Committee Members only (limit 4): Report to judges’ hotel rooms at the DoubleTree Hotel approximately 30 minutes following the end of the Chorus Competition (see chorus “Scoring Analysis” for schedule)

3:00pm-4:00pm Chapter Presidents Council – DoubleTree Hotel – Brookridge room

6:30pm District Quartet Championship & International Quartet Prelim Finals – BCPA

9:30pm (approx.) President’s / QCA Reception – DoubleTree Hotel – Brickyard 1&2
